I often browse Etsy, how can one not? I get a lot of cravings when I do but also inspiration. I draw inspiration from my surroundings and therefore I fill my home with things that I obsess over. So what if I have like a million dragons or a billion wolves? What if my shelves are filled with my favorite fandoms? If it makes me happy, inspires me, or makes me feel safe, it is coming home with me if my bank account allows it. I am far from a minimalist. I am a maximalist.

Everyday Magic #1

I think that it's too easy for us to forget those smaller moments in life. To remember them and treasure them. So I decided to write a little Everyday Magic post, that will appear now and then. I always have at least one page in my current journal where I scribble down moments like this. What is some recent everyday magic you've had in your life?

A Letter To Spring

Dear Spring,

How I have missed you. I love you for always being there for me each year after Winter. That you keep being the light at the end of the tunnel of my Winter depression and hardships. Thank you for being in my life once again. For bringing the wave of inspiration and motivation. I look forward to watching you wake up and turn into Summer. Welcome back, my dearest friend.

March 20th marked the official first day of Spring this year and even if the world does not change overnight, you can feel a difference around you. I am always bursting with creativity and longing when Spring finally arrives and it's no different this year. And Spring means Summer comes next, and I am madly in love with Summer. Are you excited over Spring?

Welcome To My Wolf Den!

So, you have stumbled across my little wolf den here in the digital world? Welcome! I hope that you enjoy what I have in store for you, which is mainly to inspire and give you a place to go to in order to relax and get some positive energy of various kinds. Because the world knows we all need it, often.

The idea I have for this blog is to treat it as one of my journals. I do a lot of creative journaling in various forms (junk journaling mainly) and decided to create Lycan Howl as a public and digital journal. I am a very eclectic person and can promise there will be something for everyone.

I have had this on my mind for some time, to start this blog up. I decided that it will be this year's Ostara project. I pick a creative project each year around Ostara (Spring Equinox). Ostara is an amazing time for some serious self-care and love. To focus on goals that bring you joy. Starting this blog is doing that.

I apologize in advance if a lot changes, specifically with the layout, first. I am still working on it, I do want it to be minimal so no major changes will happen. But it's hard (at least for me) to create a layout before the blog has taken its form, found its vibe so to speak.
